TINA SCHOUW

Tina Schouw es otra de nuestras cantantes favoritas. Escuchamos sus discos una y otra vez y el año pasado tuvimos la suerte de ir a un concierto suyo.

Ella es capetoniana y su música es una mezcla interesante de influencias; como la misma ciudad. En general suena bastante a jazz, pero también hay pop y folk.

Su voz envuelve y además ella compone la música, muchas de las letras y toca la guitarra.

La letra de esta canción me gusta especialmente, abajo tenéis la traducción en español (aunque me suena bastante mejor en inglés).

El guardian y custodio de la llama

Una mañana de invierno,

Y así fue esa mañana cuando empecé a viajar.

Entonces la oscuridad descendió alrededor
y un silencio se asentó sobre mi y me detuve.
No volví a sentirme sola porque yo había encontrado el hogar de mi genuino corazón,
y así, de nuevo, seguí viajando.
